Together/Apart

Together/Apart is a set of books exploring the honesty - and lack of honesty - in relationships. 

Gathering quotes from anonymous surveys has resulted in the range of answers given having one thing in common - the individual contemplating both their past and present relationships and being more honest with themselves as a result.

The majority of people discussed emotions that they perhaps could not share with their significant other.  This was interesting because your partner is who you are supposed to be yourself around the most.

Together uses text from people talking about their current relationship and Apart reflects on failed relationships.

Floriography

Floriography is a book produced as a contemporary response to the Victorian-era means of communication known as the language of flowers.

This tongue-in-cheek guide has been produced as a means of flirtation and is intended to be given as a token of affection.  It contains basic information about different flower meaningas as well as a selection of romantic poetry (to read aloud to your significant other).  This guide also folds out to be an A3 poster.

Charting Relationships

Charting Relationships explores the subject of love on a deeper level, looking at the nature of time in a relationship and how ultimately our love is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.  Gathering anonymous data has resulted in a truthful cross section of relationships.

Looking at different methods of documentation has resulted in a range of outcomes - from the simple graphs which anyone can use to chart their relationships, to an ongoing personal project within which I plan to map out romantic relationships over the course of my life.
